Stavros Brekoulakis
Professor Stavros Brekoulakis is the Michael and Laura Hwang Professor of International Arbitration at the National University of Singapore and an arbitrator at 3 Verulam Buildings, Gray’s Inn. He has more than 25 years’ experience in international law and arbitration and has served as chair, sole arbitrator, co-arbitrator and emergency arbitrator in over 100 commercial and investment arbitrations.
His practice includes complex, high-value disputes involving construction and infrastructure projects, energy and natural resources, corporate transactions and M&A. Stavros is a member of the ICSID Panel of Arbitrators, Vice-President of the ICC International Court of Arbitration and a member of the ICCA Governing Board. He is also a widely published scholar and serves as General Editor of the Journal of International Dispute Settlement and Deputy General Editor of Arbitration International.
